Sun Parasol® Original Burgundy Mandevilla

Sun Parasol® Original Burgundy Mandevilla (Brazilian Jasmine) is a compact plant with upright habit and 2-3 inch burgundy colored flowers. Combined with the dark, glossy foliage and its natural climbing ability, this plant will make a bold and cultured statement, advertising to the neighborhood your tremendous good taste! This flexible plant can be grown in patio containers, hanging baskets, balcony planters, in landscape beds, or as house plants. If growing Mandevilla in containers, we recommended using a pot between 6 and 12 inches wide. One plant will grow nicely in a 6-inch container, while it is best to use two plants for containers between 8-10 inches, and three plants work best for 12 inch containers. Mandevilla display beautiful if grown on trellises! The recommend trellis for a 6-inch pot would be 12-18-inch-tall, while an 8-inch pot works best with a 24-inch-tall trellis, and a 12-inch pot works best with a 36-inch trellis.
