Sun Parasol® Giant Carmine King Mandevilla plant produces giant-sized, 3-5 inch, slightly ruffled blossoms, that are incredible carmine-red, from the tip of each petal to the bottom of its silken throat. It flowers from spring to fall. This vigorous climber grows well on patios, balconies and as house plants in sunny areas. When grown in containers, its best to use 3 plants per 12-inch pot. If growing Mandevilla in containers, we recommended using a pot between 6 and 12 inches wide. One plant will grow nicely in a 6-inch container, while it is best to use two plants for containers between 8-10 inches, and three plants work best for 12 inch containers. Mandevilla display beautiful if grown on trellises! The recommend trellis for a 6-inch pot would be 12-18-inch-tall, while an 8-inch pot works best with a 24-inch-tall trellis, and a 12-inch pot works best with a 36-inch trellis.
