Jersey Giant Asparagus Crowns produce tender, flavorful spears with a higher tolerance of colder climates and they mature 7 to 10 days earlier than other varieties. Known to be the highest yielding plants, they are extremely adaptable. This mostly all-male variety will outperform many other varieties, produces very few berries, and has excellent disease resistance. Ready for some fresh asparagus? Many of our 2-3 year old sized crowns will produce harvestable spears the same year you plant them! Included with each order is our all-natural phosphate fertilizer that will get your asparagus crowns growing quickly.
